i realize that. just my poor attempt at humor lol.

this reminds me of a situation a couple years ago in our neighborhood. we don't live in a forested area, but in indianapolis (well, a residential area of indy) and someone in the neighboorhood had a gutted deer hanging from a tree in his front lawn with flood lights for it at night. as if he was proud of it. it was a health hazard and he got fined, and havent had an issue again. but it was disgusting. call the cops or warden or peta.

For the sake of all things holy, do NOT get PETA involved. That bunch of pompous pricks is just begging for more spotlight. Go with your state Conservation Dept.

I'm pretty sure the deer hunting laws run slightly different between different states, but killing that many deer just doesn't seem legal, no matter what state.
definitely take everyone's advice and contact the local game warden.
That guy needs to be reported.

Neighbor disputes often get VERY personal and ugly in a big hurry. While you might be legally and morally correct to blow the whistle on this guy, consider how long you want to live next to him if this pisses him off. If your road easement is the only access from which someone can see what he's done, it's not like you can do a whistle blow confidentially, so he'll be quick (and correct) to figure you did it.

Are you willing to put up with the storm that blew over a tree that just coincidentally fell and blocked your road? the pothole filled with water that covered up the tire puncturing tacks? His burning the corpses when your house is downwind? If the guy is inventive, you have problems.

In the process of you buying your place from the prior owner, were any written or verbal representations made about the farmer owner next door?

Sounds like a heath hazard. We had some dumbass neighbor that had some dead birds floating in his hot tub and hadn't cleaned it out for weeks. It started smelling bad and had mosquitos breeding in the water.

Called the city, and it was all clean a few days later.

If the deer are on private property, you can shoot them anytime you want. There are far too many deer anyways thanks to moronic anti-hunting hollywood idiots and dirty hippies.

that's a pretty selfish way of looking at the situation.
The guy is killing animals. As was said, that's a health hazard. Who knows what all of that killing is doing to the ecosystem in that area too.
This affects more beings than just the neighbor, and something should be done about it, regardless of how pissy this "hunter" gets as a result.
