Hey Guys....hit a patch of black ice in a bad spot and put my car into the ditch, then into a ledge. I don't think it would be worth fixing, but figured I'd post on here for ideas.

As for what is damaged...The airbags deployed...the drivers side fender is trashed, windshield is done, drivers door and window, rear door works but has damage to it on the bottom, and the rear fender and the ground effects on the bottom of course. The hood might be salvagable, but has some damage on the side of it. The roof has some dents that look like they can be fixed. The "pillar" I guess you'd call it, that runs up the side of the windshielf between it and the door is also pushed in....no idea how they go about fixing that. Also there is some to the back drivers side rim, and one of the braces near it (it's twisted). I have not been able to confirm any other damage underneath.

Me being the genius that I am, only had Liability insurance on the car, and no collision.

The car doesn't "look" all that bad, but I'm thinking that with all of that damage, it would not be worth it to fix it. It's a 1998 SVT w/98,000 miles on it. It was in near mint shape and ran perfect....Do people by these as parts cars? Or would I be better off parting it out on an individual basis?

This sucks, but I'm just happy that no one was hurt out of the deal....however, at the end of the day I'm still bummed that I lost my car....nobody's fault but my own though.

Thanks for letting me vent....not really any other reason for my post.
