I have just been made aware of the limits of the KKM. Although I have the KKM, I haven't use the damn thing for almost a year, since I now use the Roar Intake! Spoke to Demon and it seems a larger Cone Style Filter works better, especially in the upper RPM's, as much as 3hp more @wheels over the KKM. Since this is the case I thought I offer a Large Cone Filter (6" x 4.687" x 9"H - 3 1/2 inlet) I'll be selling it for $30.95 + s/h. Since you would need a MAF adapter to fit this on, this would work great for those that already have a KKM or any unit with the adapter in place. For those that would need a adaptor I can help yo there as well with a BAT unit. The cost for BAT's MAF adapter is 39.00 + s/h. Don't forget I'm still selling the ProM and CnL MAF's, Vortech Supercharger, Flow Path Mufflers and for those that need to upgrade there injectors, I also have Bosch Injectors as well. Have any ?'s or would like to order please contact me at Silverbulitt@msn.com Update!!! Extrude Hone now available. If you want to open up that SVT IM even further or you want to Extrude Hone your non-EH IM's yo can inquire about this by contacting me at my email address..... Aloha, Ioane Micah

Micah, I like that K&N price. Will that fit in the engine bay w/o cutting/chopping/destroying? What's the total price for both the filter and MAF adaptor?

It's sold by MAC, but it's a K&N Filter, so if you know how a K&N looks than thats what it is. From what I was told you will need to cut down the accordians on the rubber inlet (this is good for performance anyway)! Apparently a regular Large Cone Filter works better with our cars than a front and side Filter (KKM), don't ask me why. Demon and Dan Nixon for example are using a Filter like this and I'm sure you've seen there Dyno graphs. For those that will need a MAF adapter, the cost will be $69.00 + s/h (I'm guessing the average price for shipping will be around $5-15 with 5-day shipping depending on what you get)

Demon and Dan Nixon is already using this filter setup, Demon currently pumping the most N/A power, KKM was holding him back in the upper RPM's. I will measure to see if you can just cut the portion of the Air Box sticking into the engine bay if you don't feel like cutting the accordians. I haven't cut the accordians yet on my car but will be doing it sometime this week. I will need to check with Demon how he did his. I'll get back to you folks with this. Cutting the accordians will help increase velocity a bit decreasing turbulence.

I don't think Demon cut his accordian but rather cut his BAT intake pipe to make it fit, unless he has done something different since then?
But it should work either way.
