The 5503 is the direct replacement for the center res, hence the center/offest (2.25") layout.

found a local guy (Sam) who has the Edelbrock but need some type of recorder to get the sound :rolleyes:

I just put the 5503 in my SVT. It feels like I got a significant amount of power increase. It has better response and grunt. Not to mention that it sounds better IMO. Not cheap and just deeper. I would recommend.
