That's even worse than the 8/100. Most people drive more than 10,000 miles a year and are likely to have the warranty expire before the time is up, and are less likely to be covered when the batteries need replacement (more likely to need that cost included in the cost of ownership).






You didn't read the rest of the paragraph in my link that says the batteries are designed to last even longer under normal driving conditions. I for one would not be buying an Accord Hybrid for stoplight grand prix, and I doubt anybody else that does has racing in mind. If you treat a car right, it will treat you right and that's all the common sense anybody with half a braincell needs.

And I never said Honda's don't break down. The propensity of them breaking down is less likely than most other cars on the market. That's what I was suggesting.

Sometimes I wonder if any of you read before posting with the old "My opinion is 100% right." attitude.
