Not nitpicks, just thoughts.

Truth be told, I would consider leasing a Civic Hybrid if I lived and commuted in a metro area. No Accord. I like small cars better. Until I knew more about it's resale/trade-in vlaue, I wouldn't buy.

uh, no offence gonzo, but it;s safe to say whatever the accord is worth, its more then all of your cars that you currently own, combined

... ever hear the saying, sometimes you get what you pay for?

And my tractor is worth more than your Contour. What's your point?

seems this thread has turned into a dick measuring contest. knock it off ladies. Everyone is entitled to their opinions, regardless of view or topic. You don't need to argue cause someone doesn't understand your taste, style, lifestyle, or how you like to express yourself. The poor guy wanted opinions on the car, not opinions on everyone elses opinion.

So for the sake of the topic at hand.

For a Honda I am also might impressed. Not the best looking car, but neither is the Prius. I would consider the escape hybrid before the accord. Matter of preference of ford versus honda. No other reason. 255 hp and still getting decent gas milage isn't to shabby. I wish my car got better gas mileage. My tour seems to be seeing its days, and the next vechiles i am looking into is escape/escape hybrid, F150, or bmw m3/300 series. Now, if i get the escape, i will most likely get the hybrid, since its virtually the same vechile. Now, if my parents wouldn't run me out of the house (they believe in ford more then god somedays.) lol. So i think the accord hybrid isn't on my list to buy due to my parents being narrow minded somedays.
