8 year/80,000 miles? Bah. I've put 65k on the Bravada in 2 years, 4 months. Yeah, I drive a lot. So I would be concerned about my trade-in value being less than a regular Accord. I would be concerned about getting straight burned by out-of-warranty repairs while I am still paying for it. I also do a lot of driving in areas where the local shop is going to pass on repairing a hybrid. No Honda dealers nearby my home.
My concerns may be different than yours, as my situation is different than yours.
Truth be told, I would consider leasing a Civic Hybrid if I lived and commuted in a metro area. No Accord. I like small cars better. Until I knew more about it's resale/trade-in vlaue, I wouldn't buy.
