Quote: idle is fluctuating or "wandering", it usually means there's an intake leak somewhere that's not being metered.
After spending a day working on the wife's tour and testing all the parts like the EGR, IACV, I did the old spray carb cleaner around the engine to see if there is a leak and sure enough in the back corner of the intake gasket, it's leaking. I did figure it out before I read your post but I lost a day trouble shooting it.
