Disabled cars for whatever reason, even flat tires, on Houston freeways. A tow truck, areas are assigned to wrecker companies, will be there in 6 minutes (6 minutes, yea right) to tow your car to safety or the place of your choice costing you $75 for the first 30 miles and $1.50 for each mile after that. You will have no say so in the matter. I bet the wrecker companies love this law. It goes into effect at the beggining if the year.
