For the exact same reason the 3 looks alot like a 6 that got thrown in the garbage compactor. Brand identity.
The 3 looks a hell of a lot better than that tank of a car they call the 6. Do you know what you are looking at?
the 3 looks better than the 6?  I'm gonna have to go with a negative on that one.
I guess the GTO is really pushing people away with its looks cuz if I could afford a car in that price range I definitely would jump all over that power.
