Thought I'd give the site a last scan before heading out. I'm sorry I did.
I can be a self-centered and somewhat uncaring prick at times, but you've officially taken the Blue Ribbon in that category by a country mile and shattered the record.
The callousness and ignorance you've displayed here is beyond the pale; so much so that I'm temporarily at a loss for words.
Buy one, steal it, rent it, whatever it takes:
Get a F**KING clue and come to the realization that just because some areas of this world aren't floating in wealth, it automatically means that their masses are in abject and utter misery, begging to be delivered into the arms of Death.
I've traveled 5 continents and more countries than you can probably name (disadvantaged 3rd world countries included); most are populated by friendly, kind and hard-working people that are usually MUCH more content with their lives than their US counterparts are as a whole.
Take pride in the fact that you are one of a select few over the years that has managed to absolutely boil my blood, though instead of indulging in thoughts of taking a lead pipe upside your head, I sincerely hope you one day make a trip or two outside the US and interface with a small portion of the BILLIONS that you so caustically dismiss.
During that experience, I sincerely hope you will gain a small measure of respect, empathy and understanding towards those that live life a little different than you or I.

here here. well said JaTo.
hitman, you need a reality check and fast. to think that a person could even begin to dismiss the value of a life based on economic situation is beyond my grasp. I don't claim to know a lot about much, but I can at least be content in the fact that I can appreciate life and what it means to be alive. How would you feel if instead of economic situation, we based this on occupation and got rid of the "3rd world" jobs. you know, the jobs that since we don't work there or have anything to do with, we assume are worthless and demeaning. let's start with McDonalds and get rid of those people. doesn't give you that warm feeling inside does it?
this argument is not meant to offend anyone working at McDonalds except hitman. i know it can be a great place to work, but since most people don't work there and we have stereotypes, it's often thought of as "3rd world" in the econimic employment sense. just like how hitman has taken for granted the lives of those in a 3rd world country because he doesn't live there.
may God have mercy on your heartless, evil soul hitman.

I wonder how many sea-bearing vessels were affected, and if they were, how many were crippled or destroyed..
I'm thinking the casualty reports we're getting are limited to what we can physically reach to account for.. The real death toll is going to be so much higher than we'd expect.
Edit: and as stated, CNN and the media giants BETTER cover this like flies on sh%t..because 9/11 imho does not equal this
