You added nothing worthwhile aside from being a Steelers slappy.

2) I was correcting others posted stats b/c they WERE WRONG
And you corrected them by quoting INCORRECT STATS. If you are going to correct them, at least make an attempt to make them right.

3) Pats defense isn't a widely known good one. LOOK at all the stats i've posted EVEN the ones you did. C'mon man the Pats defense isn't close to touching the Steelers..give it up
I don't know when you decided to jump on the NFL bandwagon, but I suppose it was after the Steelers started winning this year. But if you had watched any ESPN or Fox sports NFL preview or review of last years championship season, you would have seen people referring to the Patriots as having of the best defenses in the league. Their offense isn't spectacular, it's been their defense that has won it for them.

4) Thank you for pointing out that Im RIGHT again by posting your stat #'s. I love how you make a statement like "having one of the top defenses in the NFL with the most depth" then prove urself wrong by putting up stats lol. Out of the 6 categories you posted, Steelers are better in 4 of them. as well as many other teams being better then the Pats in the same categories. Not to mention the Steelers have a better record at 14-1 (oh wait thats the best record in the ENTIRE NFL too)
Shall we talk about the factors that go into this? Pittburgh played teams with a combined record much poorer than NE opponents. They had the luxury of playing the Browns a couple of times to pad both offensive and defensive stats.
Maybe you don't understand that while your team is running the ball, the other team is not possessing the ball and therefore the defense is not on the field. NE defense went up against nearly 100 more offensive plays. So, if you want to go by total yardage, perhaps yards per play is more indicative or a quality defense as it takes the offense out of the equation. In which case, the steelers give up 4.7 yards per play compared to NE 5.0.

5) we already talked about pts/game and how its not a as clear representation of how good a defense is. Ask ESPN why they look at yrds/gamn given up to calculate "best overall" D. which AGAIN is the Steelers. Catch up on the thread buddy.
6) The teams are not evenly matched. Steelers are better in almost every category, plus a better record, plus already beaten the Pats...but again I keep rehashing.
Yes, the beat NE when the Patriots didn't have their number 1 offensive weapon. They are slightly better in rushing yards per game, drastically worse than the pats passing attack (actually, they rank near dead last in passing).

7) Ya already discussed this too....might want to check back where we talked about the schedules...Steelers playing two undefeated teams AND BEATING THEM. Cant say that for the Pats. plus the other opponets etc. etc. etc. you can read back on it b/c i dont feel like re-typing for those who cant read b4 posting. Quit riding on the excuse about having a starter out when you played the Steelers. Take a look at the Steelers injuries this season. How many starters did they lose? Casey Hampton for one (the core of the Steelers D line out for the season), Kendrel Bell a great line-backer when healthy, Staley out for what like 5 games now, Burress was out for four, plus many others. Yet we still know how to put up the W's. Quit making excuses with your teams already.
I'm not making any excuses for my teams, just trying to clear up your steeler fanboism. You say the Pats defense isn't known as being good, but if you talk to ANYONE that actually knows about the NFL, they will disagree with you 100%. The Steelers are better in some ways this year, but because they gave up 40 fewer yards per contest by playing weaker teams, doesn't make them clearly the best. Besides, missing a defensive player isn't nearly as big of a loss as losing a starting RB.

8) as ive stated the Steelers are the superior team in the NFL, No other team in the NFL has the same amount of stats ranked as high as the Steelers. Including the Bills. Ohhh Bills have won 6 straight games...guess you forgot about the Steelers winnning 12 straight. Numbers dont lie. Time to face the music, and buy a terrible towl. It isnt to late to jump on the band wagon.
The Steelers have the best regular season record, i'll give you that.
If you want to choke yourself on your teams collective schlongs, so be it, but at least make some sense in your arguments. I read all of your comments, most of which corrected stats with more incorrect stats. I did read that you think because Pittsburgh beat two undefeated teams, they had a tougher schedule.
to recap:
-Big Ben has no perfect games
-Steelers have among the worst passing attacks in the NFL
-Steelers have second best rushing attack
-steelers allow the fewest yards per game
-NE has an outstanding defense is known league wide as having one
-NE played a much tougher schedule (I would qualify 15 games better as MUCH tougher)
-Pittsburgh beat NE without NE having a running game.
-NE is still the world champion
-IT's still too early to call any team the best in the NFL at this point.
-I will go make a new thread for you so you don't ruin this one further than you already have.
