okay, where do you get this, steelers don't lose at home bit from? they were 4-4 at home last year. They haven't proven themselves yet. Patriots were 14-2 last year and are most likely gonna finsh 14-2 this year. I think we are more proven. Not to say steelers aren't good, they just aren't proven. Look at the teams you have beaten at home. I will give you credit for beating us and philly but when you have a cupcake schedule where you play cleveland twice, cinci twice, washington and oakland you don't impress me much.

my statement that the Steelers dont lose at home is in regards to this season. They are 8-0. As far as comparing schedules, if your going to call the Steelers schedule cupcake, what do you call yours? Only tough team you played was the Steelers (in which you lost) the only other decent teams were Indy, the jets, and maybe throw in a baltimore or Buffalo. The Steelrs played the pats and the Eagles who WERE both undefeated and then there is jacksonville, baltimore and Buffalo. The schedules are equal. If your going to call one over the other a "cupcake schedule" your wrong. If anyhting Pit had the tougher schedule w/ beating two undefeated teams. Anyway for someone that already lost to the Steelers once you sure are building up your hopes as well as the rest of the Pats fans for yet another upsetting loss. Good night

and thats why the pats have won 2 superbowls in the last 3 years and the steelers have won none
Ooooh now he wants to count Super Bowl wins . Bad move . Obviously not a sport enthusiast. Steelers have won not 1, not 2, not 3, but 4 Super Bowls rings. Which include winning 4 SB's in 6 consecutive seasons. (YES that means the Steelers have "won two Super Bowls" twice and back to back ....Hense the 1 for the Thumb.
Where you even alive then? Pittsburg's had a good year but to hail them as the next coming of the "Steel Curtain" shows just how little you know about football. I understand your need to dance around like a goofball because it's been awhile since you've had a football team to cheer for so let me give you some advice. Don't kill yourself when they don't win one for the Chiller!
HAHA buddy do you realize you make no sence at all? Nothing like the Steel Curtain? Having the #1 rush defense in the NFL not to mention the #1 overall defence in the NFL..oh wait did i forget to mention 3 defensive players going to the Pro Bowl? And you tell me I know little about football. Please tell me who YOUR team is? As for the Steelers they have won 4 SB's (plus the appearence in 96)there are only two teams that have won more and that is Dallas and SF w/ 5. So thanx but winning in the Burgh is something we are accustomed too i dont need to "dance b/c its been a while since Ive had a team to cheer for" Dont kill urslef trying to catch up to date. Do your Homework man.
Dance little goofball dance!

I was going in the longer term... even when the Steelers were a mediocre team, they always seemed to be the spoiler at home against teams which were much better at the time (I remember the years where they would foil something for the Denver Broncos)... one 4-4 year does not remove the historical issues that playing at Pittsburgh presents.

Steelers opponents records 105-120 Patriots opponents records 117-108
Tell me again who had a tougher schedule???
Oh yeah and another thing. You beat jacksonville and baltimore huh? wow they're both 8-7 that don't impress me much. And you beat buffalo too huh? Well by my schedule, you havent' played them yet and you play them next week. Considering your playoff postion is locked and buffalo is fighting to get in, you will quite possibly go the way of Philly tonight and lose.
I'm respecting your team. Dont disrespect mine.

HAHAHA, exactly. I was just waiting for someone else to point that out to rub it in because at least twice I've heard that "steelers can't be beat in pittsburg!"
In doing research I saw 2 things. Steelers jumped out on pats in first quarter big. Remaining 3 quarters patriots win 17-13. A win is a win, but the patriots only ran the ball 5 times because dillon was hurt and the hole that they dug themselves. I don't think they will dig that same hole again. Other stat is that patriots had a tougher schedule this year. combined record of steelers opponents (assuming eagles lose tonight and rams win) 105-120 Combined records of patriots opponents 117-108.
Bottom line, I don't have to like the steelers and you don't gotta like the pats, but we gotta respect each other because this will be a good game. (even though I think the pats with dillon healthy will destroy pitt)
What has to be respected? A all out offense(Pats) or a well rounded team(Steelers.) I think your getting alittle too emotional on this one. Once, you start saying this "we" stuff, then there is really no need to talk to you anymore. I made in error inregards to the first round statement.
Yes, they got a bye. Mind you they might get use to sitting around because they most likely WON'T win their FIRST playoff game.
Like I said before, it is going to the "Battle for PA" in the Superbowl. The last time I checked the Patriots were in a sorry area of the country called "New England". Have a nice night.
Now I hate America? That is a new one to me.

I'm betting that DJ Capp doesn't say that when his team sucks.

Man i hope so...I would absolutly love the battle of PA...I was hoping for this the past 3 years when I was up at State College attending PSU. Its smack dab in the center of the state and OMG is the Pits/Phil rivaly HUGE there. In any event Im thinking about making a reservation at the hotel there in town so I can be there for the SB. It would be insane.
