Anyone who thinks "Big Ben" can even touch Peyton Manning really needs to get their information from places other than ESPN. Like Rusty said, he's probably the second coming of Cordell Stewart.

One thing here for all the peole talking about SB rings. Is there one cracked out person on CEG who thinks that Jerry Rice would NOT be considered the greatest WR ever if he had no superbowl ring? If there is then I suggest you get your head checked.
I like Rothlisnshkdberger...I told my cousin (a NY Gaint's fan) during te draft that they should've taken him and saved the draft picks but let's not get crazy here...he's done very well but a lot of that is the offense around him. He has NOT put up exceptional stats this year...but he;s done what he needs to...which is just enough to win the game and never anything stupid to LOSE the game. Still, he's no top tier QB yet and I think if he was stuck in NY instead of Eli that he'd be having a lot of trouble too because he wouldn't have the weapons around him he has now.
I think philly still has a good shot at the SB but losing TO will hurt them and their D is not very good so it's possible some other mediocre NFC team could make it in. I don't think Rothliskdjsberger is going to be able to lead the Steelers to the big game although I'd kinda like to see it. The Colts have a shot but if they run into the Pats...ugh look out cause Belicheck has Mannings number it would seem.
If I had to pick 2 teams for the SB I'd say probably Philly and the Pats but I think ATL has a decent shot as does IND and PIT...should be interesting.

Roethlisberger already has 1 perfect game chalked up in his ROOKIE season week 13 @JAC 158.0 passer rating (Manning only has 3). Mind you he is 23 years old! He also has 13 straight consecutive wins since starting as a rookie which is a record (its a record b/c ur beloved Manning didnt do it ) Cinderella rookie or not he took the snaps and got the W's. Something Rivers nor little Manning could have done. Yes Ben isn't as BIG as Manning...yet... but that is only b/c he is A ROOK...I cant wait to see what HE'S like in 6 years and the numbers he's putting up. Quote:
17-6 win against NYJ, he was 9 of 19 for 144 yards, with 0 TDs and 2 INTs... how did that help his team win anything?? Or the 11/14 win at Cleveland (24-10), he was 10-16, not bad... but for only 134 yards... ouch. And again, 0 TDs, 1 INT... again, not helping his team much.
In the past 4 games he was w/out Burress, undoubtably one of the best receivers in the league. He only has 1 proven receiver in Ward. His other looks were Randle El and 2nd and 3rd stringers. Thats the reason for the close Jets game, which yes was a win. As for Cleveland, if your from the Burgh you know about our rivalries. Any rivalry game opponents will play out of their minds. 10 of 16 for 134 yards is not bad at all. The completion % isn't bad and you must take in the receivers YAC into consideration. He made the passes the receivers just didnt get the yards. His job is to get the ball into their hands and he did.

Steelers are good... and as i've been trying to point out... SO ARE THE FLIPPIN' COLTS!!! When will you guys realize this?
Meh, i'll keep my $ on the Stillers
The Steelers are the complete package and extremely well rounded. Great on both sides of the ball.
Freakishly good QB (excellent out of the pocket and scrambling, as well as acuracy and ability to read the D) #1 defense in the NFL, #2 rushing game in the NFL, home field adv. throughout playoffs....umm did i 4get anything??? oh yea, ring #5

I did not know the janitorial crew were considered part of the team? Just because you serve peanuts at the stadium does not make you a teamate.
Enough of this "we" stuff.

I think you already passed that point. Losing to the Dolphins was a serious wake-up. I loved seeing the look of defeat on Tom "Gaydy's" face.
Remember that face Goonz, because you will see it again in a 1st round playoff loss.
