The Manning family disgusts me! After that stunt that Eli pulled earlier this year at the NFL Draft. Whining and crying until he got his way. That is supposed to be THE happiest day in his life, getting drafted to an NFL team to make the big bucks. But oh yeah he already grew up with a silver spoon in his mouth. I agree the Colts arent gonna do s**t this year and as for the Giants . Pittsburgh all the way baby. Wish the Texans were in the Playoffs. Maybe next year. -tropictour

What is it with people saying the Colts are going to leave the Playoffs early? You think that when the Playoffs come, all the teams that they've been playing all year are gonna pull some tricks out of their sleeves? Are they all pulling a Barry Bonds and roiding right before playoffs and it's a secret to the Colts? Indy has proven that they can win games, in the Playoffs, it's a matter of who can win the most consecutive games. You might not "like" Peyton, but I don't see how you can hate him. He's one of the last class-acts left in NFL. He goes into every game with a mission, and to get the job done. Don't get me wrong, Favre is a tremendous QB, but since when do we commend players for being on drugs? Saying he did all this great stuff while addicted to Vicoden and thinking that's a good thing!?!?!?! Whether the Colts win a Super Bowl or not, Manning is a Hall of Fame QB, I just hope that he can go there with a ring on his finger.
GO BEARS!

Damn I hate all them A-rabs because of that stunt that Osama pulled back in '01!!
Peyton and Eli are about as far apart as two brothers can get in this league. Petyon breaks one of the toughest records in football and doesn't even celebrate for a second... Peyton established a charity that gives thousands of dollars every year to the local community... Peyton truly is a class act. Sure Favre battled back from painkiller addiction, but Manning was never addicted in the first place!!
And to all you haters out there who say the Colts can't do it, I say here's your proof:
Peyton has the biggest team turnaround in league history (3-13 to 13-3 in 98-99), and the biggest 4th quarter comeback (against the Bucs).
He's well on his way to becoming the 2nd back-to-back MVP winner since... Brett Favre!
He has the TD record that most thought would stand for decades (here's a good article about the achievement), he's the 2nd fastest ever to 200 TDs in his career (behind Marino), and he's thrown for over 4,000 yards in 5 straight seasons, breaking the previous record of 4 held by... Peyton Manning. No other quarterback in league history has had more than 3.
He's on his way to breaking Steve Young's passer-rating record for the season, and he's the only quarterback in history to throw three "perfect games" (a rating of 158.3).
He entered the Hall of Fame's top 20 passer ranking in his THIRD season in the league. He owns a franchise record of six TDs in one game (and this is a franchise, lets not forget, that boasts of Johnny Unitas...) and a smattering of other franchise records.
In 7 seasons, Peyton has 216 TDs and 120 Ints (a 1.8 ratio, with 49/10 this season, a 4.9 ratio). Favre has a 1.65 ratio for his career and 1.64 for the season.
Face it... Peyton is well on his way to being the best passer the NFL has ever seen!
But not just that... we have the #2 rusher in the league. 4th team in history with 3 receivers over 1,000 yds, and the first team in history with 3 receivers with 10 TDs. The most accurate FG kicker in NFL history (and one of 4 with a perfect season), the best position punter in the league, and Dwight Freeney, the leading sacker.
If Eli Manning can come within a play of beating the Steelers, and the flippin' DOLPHINS can beat the Pats, then you're only kidding yourself to think that the Colts can't win the Superbowl.

All thats does not mean jack until he wins a Superbowl ring. There are countless players who were superstars on the field. Players that broke plenty of records but were never able to btain that next level of respect due to them not winning a ring. Shall we start with Barry Sanders or how about Dan Marino?
Manning is good but we shall see how things go in the playoffs. Honestly, I can't stand the Colts(or the Patriots), but I will give credit where it is due.

Ignorant thug, your ignorance is in your spelling, and your thinking. You think that because Dan Marino didn't win a Super Bowl, that he won't be recognized as one of the best quarterbacks to play the game? You can't deny that Barry Sanders was one of the best back, and would be considered #1 if he decided to stick around and take Walter Peyton's record. Too bad it would have taken him a few more years than Walter to achieve that yardage. But honestly, don't go talking smack about the Colts and how they won't win the Superbowl, until it's over. I personally like their chances. Sure, they're defense hasn't really been much to brag about. But ya know what? They still score touchdowns, and they still win games. If they can run up 35 points a game, they are well in contention with any team you put on the other side of the field. And you better know, that Peyton will come prepared come Game 1 of the Playoffs.

The ignorance I see is in you not being able to read a post. I never discounted Barry Sanders nor Dan Marino's outstanding careers. Did I? Your totally missing my point and if you can't see that, then there is no need for me to go over it with you. The POINT is what I said, is FACT. Ask anyone and they will say the same thing. "Marino was great, BUT..."
By, the way. Leave the personal attacks to yourself.

I see that there is no point in discussing anything with you. Oops, another Manning "DR".

What a homer! Take a look at their losses and the games that were close. They struggle against decent defenses. If they win the Super Bowl on offense alone they would be one of the very few to do so. Oh and how many teams playoff team on their schedule this year?

I just feel that Pittsburgh has a better chance. It just seems that when it counts the Colts are not able to produce. I just think it was very disrespectful, to the NFL, what his brother did. I guess Im "only kidding myself" BUT only time will tell. Right? -tropictour
