Why do you keep saying this when I have said many times you arent correct?
I used to have PO731, the O/D light would flash, and I would shut off the car. We scanned it at school later that same day and retrieved the code, the CEL wasnt on at all.

The code is stored is the computer.

Do you think Ford would make it so the only way to get the code is go directly to the shop as soon as the light begins to flash?

You always give out good information and all but this time you are giving out wrong information.
