I would try some heat, then vise grips and it should come out.
I squirted some WD 40 on it, but didn't let it soak overnight or anything (whipping myself serverely!) because I was in a hurry to fix it -- FOOL that I AM! -- it looked so easy....
Heat is a good idea. Is propane hot enough? Supposed to warm up next week. I will tackle it then.
