How about this:

Dont mash the gas so hard when you launch! laugh j/k If you are racing, lower your front tire pressure to about 18 lbs. This will allow the sidewall to absorb a lot of the impact from a hard launch and will allow a larger contact patch for gripping.

The urethane motor mount will help, but not all that much. I have one, and still get the wheel hop when tires are fully inflated.

About going with a sold torque shock...I don't know about this. In theory, its fine. Keep in mind though that the shock mounts to the ALUMINUM transmission case. If twisting motion is too great and the aluminum is nice and hot, a solid shaft in place of the shock could cause the case to crack at the mounting point. Stress the work "could" here because I've never seen one or had one installed, so I don't know how much force the mouting point can take.
