I messed up badly. Got a new oxygen sensor and the special socket to remove the old one. I knew the old one would be tight, but I was just using my hand to hit on the socket handle. It started to turn and I thought the old one was turning, but HORRORS it was actually rounding the corners and slipping on the old sensor!

Oh no!

Then the temp dropped to about -20 F. below zero and there it sits. Is my only hope to get that heat shield moved and get some kind of vice grip on the old sensor or maybe use a punch and hammer to turn it?

This is bad.........
