I couldnt replace the oilpan because the parts suppliers and ford was closed today so the shop had no choice but to put some universal temporary oil plug so I can drive until after xmas season so I can take it back in for the real job. I normally run synthetic but knowing that in a week I'd dump the oil, we put just regular 5W30 and fired it up. There seems to be no abnormal noises or signs of wear like smoke from the tailpipes..etc. So far looks like there was no damage to the engine. I'm so thankful for that.
