I was tipped off by a freind today about some software that allows you to use your internet connection to make phone calls. Not an old idea I know. However this application is free. At least for all PC to PC calls. However you can call any phone in the world from your PC landlines included. There is a fee for that however. I know I will likely be signing up for some sort of service so as to make cheap long distance calls. If anyone is interested in this feel free to pm me. Or if you know of a potentially better program out there feel free to let me know that too. This is called glophone for the record and is pretty simple to use.

I use Skype , which is the same sort of deal. On broadband, it is crystal clear and it has the dial a 'real' phone for a small fee too.

i seen that ad myself. Was on SPIKE i believe. They even send you some kind of free [censored] too. Dont remember the details though.
