The seat is already all the way back. I'm 6'-2" with legs that require a 34" inseam jeans or pants.
The switch gets activated when I draw my left foot back to near the seat. This often allows the outside of my left knee to lay up against the switch, opening the rear passensger window.
If you can't imagine this, I guess I can take a photo....

I sometimes experience this too, especially during spirited driving. I'm 6'1". Slightly changing seat position seems to make this a little less prone.
The switch position on the Mystique is different. On the Mystique the switches are on the top of the arm rest. On the Contour the switches are more or less on the side of the door panel.

It's probably different driving styles i suppose. When I drive, I like my knees to be almost smashed into the dash, that way I feel "balanced" for driving. Hard to explain I suppose, but I can't drive any way else.
