hi, 2 cure rough ideal problems/ acceration hesitation, simply gut the cat. It took about 5 mins with a big screwdriver and a hammer. I tried finding a replacement, but the dealership was gonna chrage me about 900 bucks for a stock unit
I couldnt afford that so i gutted the cat, and im thinking of putting A Universal CAT later when dat ol smog check paper comes in the mail. In my opinion 200 bucks for a cat is just 2 much. I paid 50 bucks back in the day(2003) for another CAT to pass smoge. was running the main cat, and another one after the flex pipe...man was my car slow
..then i got my new exhuast. 80 bucks for 2.25 piping from the flex pipe back..no res..it kicks but
! My next upgrade is to get some headers, prob gonna get them in 2 weeks

Oh can anyone tell me if a highflow cat is legal for use in Cali? Will a car(my car) pass smoge with a highflow cat? Thanks guys
