I would probly be like how you mentioned, not being "officer hard ass" to everyone, but that guy would have definatly been pulled over (I'm guessing you would have if you were on duty).
Be glad you didn't go SF..it is without a doubt the worst job in the AF...just ask any of them or check your ALS and see how many instructors are ex SF...recruiters...any special duty they can jump on to get out of that career field.
If you want to go into law enforcement pursue a degree in criminology while you're in. I know a few guys that are working on their crim degrees right now and may very well end up working local FBI and detective jobs. Better IMO than being a trooper or beat cop...no offense obviously to Sandman.
