I'd still get an AMD!
(btw: I don't have an AMD preference...)

I just built my friend's PC using that case. I don't know what to say other than I like it. Everything comes apart easy and goes back together easy. I haven't loaded it up with fans, yet. Temps inside the case have not cracked 50 C. If they do then I'll add a rear exhaust fan.

A friend of mine has the Antec Sonata. I love it, stunningly sleek case and it does live up to its claims for noise level.
I would buy it except my sound card would keep the door from closing. (maybe if I modded it...)
Only complaint I really have for that case is the front ports (headphone, USB, Firewire IIRC?) are really flimsy and feel as though they would break away if you roughly put a cable in there.
Definitely, definitely worth $59. I remember them costing $40 over that!

I've been using the Sonata over a year now. Great case and well worth $59, originally I paid $100. It has shock mounting system for the hard drives - you will not hear the click, click noise anymore. And it has large 120mm fan in the back that runs efficiently and silently. Also it's supplied with 380W power supply that is good to run 9800 ATI card and 2500XP M over clocked to 2.5Ghz and 1G of ram(222 x 11.5 @1.75V). I'd give it big thumbs up!

Toadster, you compelled me to buy it ...
I'm a weakling for good prices on stuff I've wanted for years ... (purchase is justified though: my current case, designed for a PII, has no fans besides processor/ps, so I have it lying open ... needed a new case for a year now, this is just the ticket)
FWIW, ground shipping is ~$18 if you do decide to get it.

I love my computer, loud as hell! Sounds powerful Actually i got some cheapass case from CompUSA i wish i never bought... has 4 fans on the front, 2 on the side (manually installed those) 2 exhaust fans on the back, 2 on the PSU, and 1 on the CPU. I Do not mind the noise though.

well, i am one lucky SOB I went to Fry's - and their "sale" in the store was $109 and a $30 mail in rebate, so i was ticked... the online price @ Outpost.com (Fry's counterpart) was $89 with a $30 MIR so $59 total... the guy at Fry's was an idiot, he wouldn't match his own online price! so my buddy and I left (nice 40 minute drive for nothing!) and ended up grabbing lunch and stopping by CompUSA just for fun... cool thing is that I saw the Sonata there for $129, and I asked the Service guy if he could match the Outpost price - and HE DID! $89 for the case and he GAVE me a $30 giftcard for CompUSA WOOHOO!!! now - onto finding a good Deal for the Zalman 7700 CPU Cooler

lucky!!
I just went and bought it online ... no Fry's around here (to my knowledge) and I didn't think that Circuit City (right in town), Best Buy (30 min. drive) or CompUSA (~50 min drive with traffic) would honor online prices.
So you have your case NOW, and I have to wait another week (and I paid the $20 shipping!).
