if any one is interested in a 50 thousenths gasket let me know. If your compression is 9.5:1 it will be 9.0:1 from What what i was told.

Need to drop compression eh???
Stock ~10.31 CR SVT's running 12-13psi on a T28
3L at 10.3-10.4CR running 10-11psi on a T3/4 60 trim
Hell a non-intercooled 10.3CR SVT running 7psi (IIRC Stazi???)
3L oval port with quality chamber work equates to 9.7-9.8CR (i.e. nothing you got from said mechanic that's for sure!)
Even an untouched oval port 3L is about 10.1 max CR.
Don't listen to that mechanic!!! 'nuff said.

Contour V6 and probe V6 share nothing in there desigens...2 completly diffrent beasts....if these are for the probe...then you need to go some where else and find a diffrent company.

he specifically said over the phone contour and taurus not probe. He looked taurus 3.0 on the computer and the part number i put on here is for a taurus.

OMG make this stop. The 3.0 toward the bottom is for the Vulcan or the Yamaha. Toward the top the company is so great they think the Probe and Contour share the same 2.5. And underneath the 3.0 listing they even have a 3.8 SVO listing. Umm a hi-po 3.8 was never built by SVO. Great place to get parts from. Order some and let us know how they fit.

I talked to them on the phone months ago, they said they didn't know what it was for, but it was for a early-mid nineties Ford 3.0. Which is years before the 3.0 dohc Duratec was ever built. Ask again. Also they said about $400 for custom copper gaskets.
