Don't listen to them!!! I miss all of the V8s i've had on the regular basis (until it starts snowing!
). To keep up my "skills", I'm assisting a couple of friends with their "frame off" restos- a 1978 Trans-Am (think Smokey and the Bandit)and a 1968 Camaro SS convertable with a 383 stroker in it....There is no substitution for cubic inches!!!
Have fun with that car....the LS1 is an excellent motor that responds well to bolt-on's and is reliable. Just have fun tinkering around with that "coil-on each cylinder" ignition set-up (yikes!). Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
