I also have the KL-03 Mazda engine in my little precidia/mx-3! same platform as the protege, the BG platform!
I know a couple guys who have those engines in there early gen escorts, anyways... rpm tops out at 7800 rpm? how did you manage that? I can only hit 7000 on mine, or possibly 7200, but I'm also running a stock MX-3 ecu, on my kl-03 engine
anyways these engines perform great eh? I can probably run around a mid to high 14, not quite sure yet tough, will find out in the spring/summer!
but damn, you car is one hell of a sleeper! alot better then mine!

oh btw, just to clarify and not to sound rude that is NOT an mx-6 engine, as it clearly states on the valve cover "Ford" which means the motor is out of a Probe GT.
