GAs is really pricey..i do not want to pay for 91 octane when i can get away with 87. The reason i want this in my daily driver is because i travel 30 miles 2 and from work every day on the highway. Since i only am driving in the high way, its best for me to remove the revlimiter or speed govenor so on those friday nights back home i can open up the car if i choose to.
oh....and by the way.... with a bunch of bolt ons what is the top speed of a zetec contour? What is one with a supercharger? Turbo?

top speed does not change, only the time it takes to get there...
I do wonder if a regular contour is drag limited to 143 as well though...

Power can change what the drag limit is. So a regular contour is limited to less because less power to push it through the air. Also a regular contour is slightly less aerodynamic than a svt. I do wonder what my car's true top speed is, but it's hard on the car, illegal, and I'd want (actually need since the speedo only goes to 130 and I know it's higher than that) a gps device to get an accurate measurement so I guess it won't ever happen.

my contour zetec ATX gov.'s out at 103.......  why so low when everyone else is getting 112?

Are you running other than standard rim/tire sizes- that could throw the speed off a few percent. What the speedo says may not be your actual speed. Just a thought.

I hit 112 with 215/45/17 so that shouldn't be an issue.
mine arent that much taller than stock though in diameter

A stock Zetec is drag limited to like 120-125.
