Well down here in the E. Tennessee valley, the news has been hyping up the first snow of the season for the past week. This just so happen to coincide with the week I got my new tires put on. My g/f and I decided that this would be a perfect opportunity to test out their winter performance. We had temperatures in the low 20s with a wind chill near 10. Tonight is supposed to be even colder.

Here's the shots I took today. Sorry for the crappy quality, I should be getting my D70 sometime next week so hopefully next time when I head up there, the quality will be a little better. Nonetheless, hope everyone enjoys them.

The first set of shots are of some of the scenery before the snow really started to come down. These shots were taken at the Y.

These next set of shots are of the new tires I put on the car on Friday. All I can say about them is I love them. Awesome traction in the snow for an All-Season tire. They are Pirelli P-Zero Nero M+S in size 225/45/17 on the stock BBS Wheels

This next shot is of the tires when we were deeper in the mountains towards the end of our trip

These next two shots are of the snow we got in the City. I call this our "heading out" shots.

These next shots are of the STi when we pulled over at the Y. This was right before we headed out and the snow was starting to pick up.

These last two shots are of when we were deeper in the mountains right before visibility turned to nothing.

Hope you enjoyed the shots. Nonetheless, this is how STi's were meant to look.

Nice scenic shots! Too bad they look like they were taken with a camera phone.

looks awsome!

I hope it snows a bunch around here - I spent all that stupid money on snow tires and its left about .1 inches on the valleys so far this winter (over 100 " in the mountinas though)

Man, that's like my friend and his Vette... he pays $80 per month while I just had to drop all additional coverages and increase deductables to $1K, and my insurance is still $200/month (was $345/month before changes). It's not the SVT either, was the same with my old 4 cylinder ATX Contour, also not the provider... nobody has been able to beat Progressive yet...
