Well, I didn't mean literally DROPPING the clutch at EXACTLY 4K RPM! I have an auto neway, so I was actually refering to an automatic. What I meant was u gotta have the needle halfway up the tach and take advantage of the engines mid RPM hp. And my tranny's survived several 4K RPM launches, including those of it's previous owner in those 100K+ miles on it. Which is more than I can say 4 the engine and lower control arm mounts unfortunately! But those were trashed when I got it. Maybe I'm just lucky?
