All depends on what you want to spend and how frequently you plan a going, I lived in the snow with my SVT and spent 400 bucks on these spike deals that clip on to an adapter plate mounted to the lug nuts, worked better than cables or chains, never got stuck not once, even worked awesome on my Mustang.
