E-mail me or PM me if you want I can probably get some night shots sometime this weekend!

Hey Eric L, I looked in your sig and you do have some night shot pics. I have a question though. In your sig, the second row down, there is a pic of your fogs and your headlights. Your headlights are really white w/ a tint of blue (im assuming they are the HIDs or blueish tint bulbs) but your fogs are yellowish in contrast.

However in further rows down your fogs look VERY white w/ just a SLIGHT tint of blue. Is this pic taken after the PIAA superwhite addition was made, meaning are those the PIAA superwhite in combonation w/ ur HIDS? In this pic both your headlights and your fogs color look VERY close in color. It looks great. Thats why im hoping those pics are w/ ur HIDS and the PIAA's b/c I aiming for the same color match.

P.S. what is the color temp of your HIDS?

The reason I ask this is b/c I am trying to get a visual of the color output v.s. headlight out/HIDS. I ordered a pair of PIAA 510 superwhites a few days ago for a X-mas gift. They cost me $185 w/ the lamps, bulbs, relays, switches, etc. plus the white vinyl covers w/ black lettering(oposed to the ugly black grate covers). That included tax and there was free shipping and handling.

Wa2tuff's pic below was the major reason i decided to get these. That pic is just redic. I sure hope mine look that good. Only bad thing about that pic is that I cant tell how the color output compares to the headlights.

I'm very satisfied and pleased with them. I've had them since mid summer with no problems. If there is a downside, it's that they are so bright they have to be aimed way down in front as to not blind oncoming traffic. They still do an awesome job. I could drive with them only and see fine.

PIAA bulbs used to be the best, now they are worse then the stuff u buy at autozone. they are not only not as bright, they dont last long at all... the wattage they list says its the most powerful bulb there is, but its actual a single filiment that reflects the power closer to your housing, a shorter bulb, alas it will be a higher wattage because its shorter, and is closer to your housing. they dont lie about it, they just dont disclose its the same as most lights available. PIAA is a rip off plain and simple. just get a higher wattage knock-off (clear is my fav), and buy 4 sets for the price of one set of PIAA's. i have some german bulbs in my car now, around a 130 watts, they are amazing compaired with every other bulb, cost about 25 bucks for a pair, 50 for hi and low set. dont be fooled by higher wattage for $99 a pair! look at the phisical bulb, compair it with a standard one, its shorter, hence a "higher" wattage, its a scam plain and simple. if anyone wants the name of the off-road bulbs i have,i will find the boxes they came in. dont get ripped off buy PIAA, they are a wate of money

This would be with my HIDs & PIAAs

I think this is with the Silverstars (highs in lows) and the PIAAs

Are these the ones you were referring too? I need to get a couple of new ones. It is supposed to warm up considerably over the next few days, and i will snap some. Drop me a PM or e-mail, check my profile for the address. I'll also subscribe to this thread as I lost it earlier!

I uploaded a few more pics to my gallery, alot with my HIDs on. The really-blue ones were taken when they were just turned on. I wish they would stay that color. I tinhik they are a 7k kit, IIRC.

How's this? I have SilverStars 9005's in both low and high beams. This pic is just with the low beams on. The PIAA 1400's in the grille have since been removed since I have the 510's for the fogs.
