I'm trying to get the (censored) alternator out of the way so I can remove the front cover on a '95 2.5L ATX.

So far I have removed the two short bolts and the 'L' support bracket, the upper 'through' bolt that holds the alternator to the alternator BRACKET, and the lower bolt that attaches the lower alternator BRACKET to the engine block.

And finally, I was able to loosen the lower alternator 'through' bolt that attaches the alternator to the alternator BRACKET. I've loosened this bolt about 4 or 5 turns and my plan was to tip the alternator toward the rear of the vehicle, pivoting it on this lower 'through' bolt so that I can then get at the final bolt that hold the upper portion of the alternator bracket to the engine block.

But the alternator won't pivot!!! Is there another bolt some place that I can't see? Or is there a flaw in my plan that I'm not aware of? Anyone have any guidence??????
