Anyways $1000 isnt bad for a Contour that needs a few things. I would check Ebay for some parts or
www.car-part.com has slavged vehicles to.
Secondly how long has the Contour been sitting at the junkyard, I wouldnt even think of trying to start it and drive it home with the oil if has been there more than 6 months, infact it is most likely a good idea to flush ALL the fluids out of it. Run some injector cleaner, might need new plugs and wires as well.
