Ever see the Silver State Classic Challenge? Some guy wrecked at 235mph and the car burst into flames. On board fire suppression system put it out long enough for him to get out then it burst again. He was racing again in a year or two.
The problem with changing to the higher FD ratio and trying to go 170 is this-
1) You've got to have enough power to push this brick that fast. Wind resistance increases exponentially so twice as much horspower as stock doesn't equal twice the speed! The only way I'm guessing the car will have an estimated top end of 170 is because we're shooting for 350 wheel horsepower.
2) You gott be freaking nuts like Judge to go 170 anywhere but a race track!

Just had to get a jab in their Judge!
