Where is the upper O2 Sensor and how do I test to see if it is bad? I found some articles online saying to use a volt meter on it while the car is running. That seems somewhate plausible and dangerous at the same time lol. I also called Autozone and the guy said that the OBD would not be able to pick up an O2 sensor unless it was setting off the CEL. Any suggestions?

Using a code reader won't let you see anything but codes.
If you were using a Snap On scanner in diagnosic mode, you can see the O2 sensors voltage and fuel switching numbers.
I believe alex peppers software will also do this.

as for the location of the upper O2's, there above the pre cats.

LOL, I was under the impression that an OBD did more then just check codes. It really doesn't do anything then. The only thing it dianosies is what CEL # you have. That is pretty useless for the most part. Well not to mean it has no propose, I'm kind of dissapointed it lives up to nothing of what it sounds like. I think I might try the Fuel Injector cleaner again. My tank is almost empty (little above quarter). So might fill up tomorrow if not friday.

that's not what he said though. he said code reader only reads codes. there are plenty of OBD-II compatible scanners that provide you w/ a lot more than that. Alex Pepper's thingy being more versatile than anything else available this side of manufacturer/dealer fence

Okay I got you now. So then Autozone doesn't use the one that checks more indepth. That or the guy when he said they don't check for that meant Autozone doesn't. Either way it sounds like I need to find something else. How do you come about getting to use Alex's Grand Device? More info on that or a link would be much appreciated :-)

AutoZone only scans for codes.
