Ghosst,

Just one nit picking comment. The first year for the 200 HP engine was 1999. The 1998 1/2 (also known as E1) was still 195 HP.

SVT got 19# vs 17# injectors, not really heavy duty, just higher flow
front struts got reworked valving on E1's IIRC

lots of other things too:
higher capacity cooling system, oil cooler, PATS system, different motor mounts, different clutch lining, tigher inspection/selection process on the crankshaft, bigger front brakes

I still like my 97 SE with the stiffer (stiffest) springs and shocks better smile

As far as I know, all 99 SVT's returnless or not came with the larger Lower intake.
I have and early 99 with the larger lower and I have a return style.
It's pretty much accepted that the larger lower is the reason the 99 can hit 200HP, 5 HP more than the 98.

Just nitpicking though.

I own both an SVT and an SE. Recently I forgot which one I was driving and the SE nearly put me in the ditch. I was in SVT-mode, and the S-turns were a little more than the SE suspension and tires wanted to do.

The SE is pretty good with the V-6, but my SVT will eat its lunch anytime, IMHO.

I thought the 2000 SVT's only had 200HP, like the 99's, not 205?
