I just want to make sure that I am understanding the capabilities of the software correctly. If I put said software on a laptop, plug into the OBD-II port, and go for a drive, when I get home I can take the laptop in the house and analyze the data.

yup that you can, although I use a palm and I get everything output to excel if I wanted


I have some Alex pepper recorded data of my car on the dyno, I can open the file and watch the playback of it
