Yikes! Hopefully it doesn't actually look like that. I didn't notice that before; if so though, my friend does have a dremel tool and he seems to be unusually gifted with it. Will see.
Probably doesn't come with a gasket either. I guess I'll have to order that seperately.

I didn't use a gasket for the longest time... no problems that I was aware of.

Any part enclosure style shield is worthless. You need to separate the filter draw area off from the rest. Otherwise you are still only pulling in the same hot underhood air. A cold air feed is another vital addition to the equation.
