Check for Alignment, unbalanced tires, or hell... Check your sway bar mounts... If you have a "klunking" noise coming from the front end when the car flexs a little (hits a bump, pull out of a driveway), then you have a bad sway bar link. Back when my passenger front link was bad, at 70 MPH my steering wheel would vibrate, but not constantly, it would vibrate for about half a minute, then stop, then do it again. replaced the link... Was good... Now I have to replace the Driver side link...



Not trying to rail on you, alignment being out of spec wont give a shaking, tire being out of balance is felt above 60mph because the wheels are doing more spins a second than at lower speeds.
