Got a 99 SVT with 65k miles on it now. Did mostly highway driving. I do the TH Fix each winter and ever since I did it this winter, the clutch has been acting different. I have to let the rpm's down to about 2500 before I can shift or else it's too rough and jerk the heck out of the car. I figured it was the clutch going bad. I definitely don't want an oem clutch but I do not want something that is specifically for racing. I will never race the SVT. I just don't have the $ to replace anything that I might have broke from being stupid. I see talk of the Grizzly on some of the posts and I think this is what I'm looking for. Are there any other new brands that have hit the market since the Grizzly came out? Anyone have suggestions or links they wish to share?

If the pedal is 'high' it may be slipping,if low and hard to engage gears may need bleeding.

Try RAM clutches. Talk to Mike there. Tell him Rick sent you his way. They make HD OEM replacements and all out full metal disks too. I haven't gotten mine installed yet for the 3L S/C, but should be an awesome clutch.

Correct, When trying to shift at low rpms, It is hard to engage. So maybe all I need to do is bleed them. Whatever that means?? I'm not good when it comes to engine mechanics. Is this something that I can do on my own, would just a normal tranny shop do this?

What do you mean by the pedal being "high"? Engagement right at the top of the pedal? My clutch disengages completely with the pedal depressed about a half inch
