news to me, I havent heard a lot about it. But from what ive seen and read from it... its one SWEET engine, Especially the 2.3L.
yeah, i wish someone would think of putting one in a contour.

Blah.. I'll never buy another car with a Zetec because it lacks power for the gas it burns.

my zetec has enough power for me... Granted you are right the mileage isnt there for how much gas it burns... I average about 26 miles per gallon city when its not freezing outside... It certainly still is a fun engine though.

American Duratecs (including the I-4 versions) use a timing chain, not a belt like the Zetec. I beleive the European 2.0L Duratec uses a belt.

is the new American I-4 Duratec still a new interference engine? Because if it is... that would be SUCH a good setup.
