ok, i ran a search and nobody has spoken about it yet, so im goin for it...... has nyone thought of putting a mach stereo system in their 'tour? i want to, but i think the speakers have a sort of amp..... or differant szes, my frieand has a mustang gt w/the speakers, but he wont even let me look at the speaker grille...... he rarely lets me ride in it..... hes afraid im gonna get dirt on the carpet.... the sad thing is, i keep my car cleaner tha he does.

I think that the general consensus is that the mach system isn't worth its weight in dog poo and that you could do a lot better for less money.

I listened to that system in a 2002 Mustang GT....wasn't impressed and I'm not a guru. It sounded muffled and crappy. The cheap setup I put in my car sounds alot better IMO....maybe I'm biased tho....hehe

Here is the method used to design the Mach Audio systems.
Ford throws alot of speakers and amplifiers into a car, and drive into a high school parking lot for approval.
The End.
It's really quite horrible, seriously Ford generally has some of the worst systems on the market. The Focus was decent, then the Mach audio version added a thumpy cheap sounding woofer in the hatch.
The mach 460 from cars like the Mustang and the last run of SHOs is really just loud, but also noisy at the same time.
