ok, my friend wants to race me for some reason...who do you think wins

i have a 00 contour se w/the zetec engine in it....i have cta intake, accel coil,ford racing wires, lowered suspension, dual xhaust, removed resonator and bout 100 lbs of factory weight off my car...i will also have the venom 1000 with a 75 shot in my car when we finally go at it..his car is a 95 eagle talon mtx...no mods...do i win by a lil lose or what ??

ok he will prob take you off the start bur you should be able to catch him quickly, Talon are famos for quick accelleration but lack power in the mid gears.

The only way he will take you all the way is if he is AWD? Otherwise

i figured he would take me off the launch if he is good at clutch racing...my nitrous will help me out a lot i think...and hopefully i can get an underdrive pulley on b4 then to help out my launch a lil bit more...

If your car is a manual and his is not a turbo, it will be a good race. Otherwise, it won't even be close.

ok, with the 75 shot of NOS you will smoke the talon if it is non-turbo, if it is he should win but you will give him a run for his money. i used to have a turbo talon and the thing is fast.

the talon has no turbo...and w/the nitrous i think i will pull away

The talon is nothing more than a 2 liter 16 valve...a fancy neon. If you can beat a neon, you can beat him

I have a video tape of a buddy of mine in a 150,000 + mile Eclipse FWD Turbo running a 13.90 @ 101mph. Only mod was unplugging the factory boost controller. Be careful because it doesn't take much to make them real fast.
