Never had that problem in my SVT. Oh wait...you guys have GL's and SE's. eek laugh

I've read AirKnight's How-To...if it'll work for you, just put it on a switch of some kind. That way you can disable the speed limiter when you want, but run it normally for everyday driving laugh

If you have to disable the speedo to do this, won't that also disable the odometer?

In 1995 all the V6 contours came with rear discs, GL up to SE models. All four cylinders came with drums. By 1997 all but the SE's and maybe LX's were coming with drums. Another area where Ford started off great but dropped quality.
