It's disgraceful what passes for journalism today - especially south of the border - sad thing is that the vast majority of Americans get their "opinions" fed to them by media outlets and personalities with their own agenda - which then backs their opinions with skewed and selective "reporting."

Just look at the difference in the way the BBC or the CBC reports events compared to say Fox or even some of the more "moderate" U.S. networks.

Feed a steady diet of "op ed" gussied up to look like journalism to the average guy or gal on the street and it's no wonder they seem out of touch with reality.
