Yeah... My career field is WAY over manned. They're going into "Phase 2" of forcing people to cross train or get out. My shop is losing 5 of our best guys (all NCO's) due to this in the next 2 years. At that, I noticed that we only have 8 or 9 NCOs in our shop, so that will be a big hit. Means all we'll have is a ton of E2s-E4s (You can't be in my career field as an E1, tech school is too long, I sewed on E3 in tech school) and a couple of NCOs.

EDIT: my sister's husband in the Navy got $30K (allotments) for re-enlisting. He's a Nuclear Electrician, though, so I can see why...
