Yeah... My career field is WAY over manned. They're going into "Phase 2" of forcing people to cross train or get out. My shop is losing 5 of our best guys (all NCO's) due to this in the next 2 years. EDIT: my sister's husband in the Navy got $30K (allotments) for re-enlisting. He's a Nuclear Electrician, though, so I can see why...
How about some ENGLISH for the "Civies"? 
He said the are going to force people to train into a different Air Force job because his career field has too many people. That means their senior people are going to be gone, leaving a bunch of noobs.
