How much underhood space do you have between the hood ribs and the front valve cover? Time to bust out some clay and find out exactly
I haven't measured it yet...I was kind of disapointed when I recieved the hood and the under frame was the same as stock OEM hood. I have a Harwood fiberglass Cowl Induction hood on my S10 and the frame is nowhere near the raised cowl section. I have a 14" dia. x 5" tall K&N filter on top of an aluminum hi-rise mounted to a 350 V8 If it came down to it I would definitely rework the hood frame to make it work. If I get a chance I'll break out the clay (or my kids Play Dough) and get some accurate numbers over the weekend.

Does not matter anyway...
Did anyone really look at the Escape picture.
There is about 6" between the valve cover and the front core support.
There is 2" on our platform and it's completely packed full of lines & hoses.
It would not even fit width-wise much less height wise.
The majority of our front VC sits above the core support. The Escape's looks a good 4-6" lower.

are there any other roots blowers that would possibly work, arent the chargers from the GM 3800SC relativly compact?

hahaha, yeah....that guy. He was hyping it up until I asked about fittment, and then he vanished Before that, he'd been talking about it like it was just about ready to drive, and since it was in Utah that I could check it out and testdrive it if I wanted.

I agree those pictures show a very nice "work in progress" but I really want to see the "after" pictures...
The only "working" roots blower application I have seen was on the Concept Contour.
One small low res picture that makes you go. WHY DIDN'T YOU BUILD IT!!!

Surprised in all these years noone actually fabbed up an intake and fuel rails for an Eaton M90. The M90 found on the GM 3800 V6 would probably be the best (design-wise) with a rear inlet, rather than top inlet found on the M90 off the Ford 3.8 Thunderbird, solves hood clearance issues right there. Not to mention the ported and modified housings and snouts and modular pulley systems the GM aftermarket provides. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33741&item=7940071590&rd=1^ Best all angles pictures of a GM M90.

Have you missed the entire thread???
Nothing fits "on top" the engine for several reasons. Clearance, engine mount, & P/S pump for starters.
