How much underhood space do you have between the hood ribs and the front valve cover? Time to bust out some clay and find out exactly 
I haven't measured it yet...I was kind of disapointed when I recieved the hood and the under frame was the same as stock OEM hood. I have a Harwood fiberglass Cowl Induction hood on my S10 and the frame is nowhere near the raised cowl section. I have a 14" dia. x 5" tall K&N filter on top of an aluminum hi-rise mounted to a 350 V8 If it came down to it I would definitely rework the hood frame to make it work. If I get a chance I'll break out the clay (or my kids Play Dough) and get some accurate numbers over the weekend.
